Newly Discovered Kennedy Family Memorabilia To Be Auctioned Off

1. The photo collection was discovered in the closet of David F. Powers, White House special assistant, first curator of the JFK Library in Boston, and JFK’s longtime confidant.

2. A Jackie Kennedy Onassis mirror selfie with Jack and his sister-in-law Ethel, taken in 1954.

3. JFK and Jackie Kennedy Onassis celebrating his 46th birthday in the White House, taken May 29, 1963.

4. JFK with his brother Joe Jr., taken in Palm Beach, Florida. Date not listed.

5. The only birthday card that John Jr. gave to his father, in his own handwriting, signed around May 29, 1963.

6. The auction includes more than 650 lots; among those are portraits of JFK, his brother Robert F. Kennedy, and other Camelot-era members.

7. The memorabilia, which includes these items and much more, is to be auctioned by McInnis Auctions in Massachusetts in February.
