1. Drink More Water
Especially during your mid twenties alchi binge!
I don’t care if it’s a painting, a macaroni necklace, or a baby…. just make something! Humans are meant to create stuff.
3. Stop Spending Money
Just stop! Learn what “need” versus “want” means.
4. Unless it’s to Travel
How many stories have started with, “That one time we were in..”?
Stop with the “I don’t have time” excuses..
6. And Quit Complaining
Because it’s a waste of time…
I don’t care if it’s the encyclopedia or Maxim magazine… just compute words through your brain! It’ll make you feel smart..
8. Be a Player
Tired of being heart broken? Stop getting into serious relationships for second and be a player. It’ll teach you to care less about those who don’t care enough for you.
9. Quit Checking Your Phone
Waiting on that text response = anxiety. Only check your phone when you hear it go off or if you need to use it! Stop with the frequent monitoring.
10. Cook a Real Meal
It’s not just about a balanced diet! Making time to prepare what goes into your body, tells yourself that you’re worth something.
Ever heard of penny for your thoughts? Do it! Speak your mind. Don’t harvest ideas, feelings, or actions… but don’t be a jerk either.
12. Stop Calling The Parentals So Much
They might hate you for a second… but, trust me. You’re a grown up, stop relying on your parents advice so much.
Stayed up too late for too many days in a row? Take melatonine when you’re ready to get back on a normal sleeping schedule. It’ll be your best friend.
14. Wash Your Sheets
Whether someone slept over last night or not… wash your sheets every month! If Paris Hilton can do it, so can you!
Because dancing proves to yourself that you could care less about your “problems” in that very moment.
16. Talk to Yourself
Because if you said you didn’t talk yourself, you’d be lying….
17. Walk Places
Because your body needs air! You’ll forget you’re alive if you’re stuck inside a house, car, train, or spaceship.
18. Find Your Faith
Find something to believe in… whether it be yoga, pudding cups, or buddha, it’ll help you find your purpose.
19. Stop with the 10 Year Plan
How much has your life changed in the last 10 years? Ya… do you really think you’ll be where you “think” you’ll be in 10 years? Why worry.
20. Remember You’re Smaller Than You Think You Are
Calm down.. you have 2/3’s of your life left. It’s not the end of the world. 20’s are hard on everyone! Happy surviving!
